Last Wednesday, we hosted the first meetup under our new tech community brand welovetech.london. The idea is to host regular meetups, each with a different theme. The theme might be a particular framework or language or it could be something broader like “music and tech”.

The February edition of React London brought us to the World Remit offices located between Westminster and Victoria. The sound of drinks and conversation filled the room but noticeably absent was the promised pizza.
We all gathered for this month’s React meetup in the new Facebook office at Rathbone Square. The amount of beer, pizza and interesting topics was tremendous.

Another month, another fantastic meetup! This time we were treated to a lesson in combining music with Elm by the exceptional John Watson, and given a whistle stop tour of functional web language design by the phenomenal Bodil Stokke.
An evening of testing workflows and dynamically built forms awaited visitors to Code Node last Wednesday when the London React Meetup was once again in town. Tom Duncalf kicked things off by describing what he has found to be effective unit and integration testing strategies for React applications.

Christmas is over and New Years resolutions have been made (and/or already broken?) but regardless of the sub zero temperatures, 250 developers flocked to Facebook's London HQ for the first London React Meetup of 2016. This month's topics covered React Native, Redux, testing with React & declarative coding with React.
With pizza eaten and beers in hand the Facebook auditorium was once again rammed for this months React.js meetup. We were incredibly excited and honoured to welcome Nick Schrock, Facebook Engineer & GraphQL co-creator, to give an extended talk on his creation – GraphQL.
