FOSDEM 17
FOSDEM is the biggest Free and Open Source event in Europe. It happens every year in Brussels, Belgium. One of the most interesting aspects of FOSDEM is that it allows open source communities to apply for what they call “developer room”.
Etiene will be giving a talk about how to make wearable technology using a low-cost wi-fi micro-controller called NodeMCU, within the Lua devroom (https://fosdem.org/2017/schedule/event/nodemcu_wearables/)
She has also invited to participate on a panel, on the second day of the event, where members of the Lua and GNU Guile communities will discuss the updates in the world of small programming languages (https://fosdem.org/2017/schedule/event/smalllanguagepanel/)
When: Saturday 4th February & Sunday 5th February from 09:30 - 18:00
