  • Engineering Lead

    We’re looking for an Engineering Lead to join our digital product delivery function. Red Badger delivers high-quality digital products using a lean delivery process and multidisciplinary, cross-functional teams.

    The Engineering Lead role helps teams succeed in development and operation of digital products, especially in larger projects with multiple teams and complex client organisation. You will be responsible for the technical direction of a client project. You will collaborate with the Principal Design and Delivery roles and engage with client stake-holders on key topics such as continuous delivery, deployment, technology adoption, team structure and responsibilities, and policy to give delivery teams space and autonomy to thrive.

  • Tech Lead

    As a tech lead, you work with one of our amazing delivery leads. Together, you lead your cross functional team to deliver high quality digital products. You love solving complex problems, and customer value is your north star. You are comfortable consulting with technology stakeholders outside of your team. You are a technology polyglot, and an evangelist for agile ways of working.

    Day to day, you will spend roughly half of your time working on code, pairing with engineers on the team, reviewing their code and helping them pick the right design to solve the problem. In the other half, you’ll be supporting the other disciplines and our clients with decisions impacted by the technical strategy of the project and providing support and line management to the engineers and test leads on your team.

    • In addition to bank holidays, we offer 24 holidays per year, which incrementally increases to 28 days after six years service.

    • Starting at 26 weeks and depending on your length of service, you’ll be eligible for either our enhanced - 12 weeks full pay - or our enhanced plus - 16 weeks full pay - maternity or shared parental leave. New fathers can also take enhanced paternity leave in addition to shared parental leave.

    • Once a month a masseuse comes into the office to give at-desk massages. We also have several wellbeing programmes and talks throughout the year.
