Nicola has over 30 years of experience managing funds and has been responsible for leading the development of some of the UK’s best known fund management companies, including Mercury Asset Management (now BlackRock), Morgan Grenfell Asset Management (now Aberdeen) and SG management, where she built assets under management to £7 billion within three years. She set up Bramdean Asset Management in 2004 with Sir Derek Higgs, as well as running a number of alternative investment mandates before selling the bulk of its business to Aberdeen at the end of 2009 and in 2011 became one of the founding partners and Chairman of Rockpool Investments LLP, a private equity business. In 2011 she became one of the founding partners and Chairman of Rockpool Investments LLP, a private equity business where she remained until early 2015. Nicola is currently the CEO of Money&Co., a P2P lending platform that allows individuals looking for a better return on their cash to lend to small and medium-sized British companies that need cash to help them grow. Nicola read law at Balliol College in Oxford.
